I am fascinated by figuring out how the mind works, especially my mind (since it shapes my entire experience, which feels pretty important).
That exploration has taken me to spending a lot of time meditating (I believe 2000+ hours now?), reading a lot about behavior change / psychology / neuroscience, and spending my active time trad climbing which is a pretty intensively mental sport.
I enjoy writing, gathering people together, and learning.
In my work I’m explore how technology is shifting the conditions that support mental health, societal health, and political health.
For a work bio, you can find me on LinkedIn. But I’d prefer if you read this :)
Love means to learn to look at yourself
The way one looks at distant things
For you are only one thing among many.
And whoever sees that way heals his heart,
Without knowing it, from various ills—
A bird and a tree say to him: Friend.
Then he wants to use himself and things
So that they stand in the glow of ripeness.
It doesn’t matter whether he knows what he serves:
Who serves best doesn’t always understand.
